I recently noticed that I was in need of an storage container for some small items I didn’t want to store in a plastic resalable bag. So what did I do? I went shopping. I priced several jars that were in different colors and sizes.
But as I was about to place the jars in my shopping cart I came up with the idea to use a left over jam jar I rinsed to recycle. Duh.. The jar was perfect for its determined use and most importantly I was more ‘green” and I saved money. I’ve listed some more ideas you can use jars for below. Also if you have trouble removing the label an easy tip is to soak the glass jar in warm soppy water or my saturate the label with glass cleaner and peel off.
